The Revd Canon W.D. Aled Griffiths

Stall of Llanfaes. Born in 1952 and received his early education at the Queen Elizabeth I Boys Grammar School Carmarthen. He graduated with a history degree at UCW Aberystwyth in 1974. From 1974-76 he was a National Trainee (Health Service Administration) with the Welsh Office, and from 1976-81 he was Principal Assistant with a Welsh Health Authority. He trained at St. Michael's Theological College Llandaff from 1981-83 and after being Ordained in 1983, served his title at St. Peters Carmarthen. He moved to the Parish of Llanwrda, Llansadwrn and Manordeilo in 1987 and to the Parish of Llangunnor Carmarthen in 1992. He has been Diocesan Warden of Ordinands since 1991, and was installed Canon of St David's (Llanfaes) in September 2001. Married to Anne with one teenage son Jonathan, his leisure interests include walking, music, visual arts, cooking, travelling and being at home!.
