The Festival Chorus rehearsing 'Belshazzar's Feast'
St Davids Cathedral Festival Choruswas founded by Geraint Bowen in 1996. Drawing its hundred members from the whole of Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, the choir rehearses weekly in the spring for one performance which has been the highlight and climax of the cathedral's annual festival. It is the only choir in West Wales that regularly has the opportunity of performing the large-scale masterpieces of the repertoire with a full-size professional symphony orchestra.

There may be vacancies in the choir for the 2009 season, especially for tenors and basses. If you would be interested in membership of the choir (the current subscription is only £10), please contact the Artistic Director, Alexander Mason to arrange an audition. Rehearsals take place in St Martin's Church Hall, Haverfordwest, on Monday evenings from 7.45-9.45 pm and will resume in March 2009.
