A message from the Archbishop of Canterbury

The Archbishop of Canterbury had been due to come to St Davids in April, as part of his visit to Wales to mark the centenary of the disestablishment of the Church in Wales. Being prevented was one of his ‘biggest disappointments in the lockdown’ he says, in this video message, released on the Cathedral’s Chapter Day. In it Archbishop Justin speaks of how he was ‘longing’ to come to this ‘remarkable place’, and reflects on what St David’s famous teaching of ‘Be joyful, keep the faith, and do the little things you have seen and heard me do’ mean to him, and how they can be a good practical signpost, especially during the coronavirus pandemic.
